No visit to Central Florida is complete without a stop at the Parkesdale Farm Market just a quick 30 minute drive from Palm Breeze Estates. This family-run market is famous for its world-renowned strawberry shortcake during Florida’s strawberry season (Jan-Mar). You’ll also find heaps of fresh local produce, citrus, jams, homemade baked goods, and milkshakes all year round.
Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum
Located in a restored historic depot in the heart of downtown Plant City, this free museum is all about Central Florida’s rich railroad history. Here, you’ll find vintage train cars, model railroads, memorabilia, and hands-on exhibits. It’s also one of the best spots in the state for live train watching thanks to its elevated viewing platform overlooking the active CSX rail line.

For real Southern comfort food, make time for a meal at Fred’s Market Restaurant.
